YSI

Through the Young Scholars Initiative (YSI), INET provides support to students, young professionals, or others who embrace new and critical ways of thinking about the economy. YSI fosters conversation among those who wish to engage with new economic thinking and connects young scholars to the Institute’s vast network of economists.

Iva Parvanova

Iva Parvanova is an intern at INET’s Young Scholars Initiative. She is one of the designated project managers for the upcoming Festival for New Economic Thinking. Currently Iva is completing her Bachelor’s degree with honors in Economics at the University of Glasgow. Her areas of interest include medical care economic policy and especially remuneration schemes within the healthcare sector. She has previously worked for the Bulgarian Health Ministry and the Glasgow Economic Forum.
