YSI fosters conversation among those who wish to engage with new economic thinking and connects young scholars to the Institute’s vast network of economists.

Shouvik Chakraborty

Shouvik Chakraborty is a researcher at the Political Economy Research Institute (PERI), University of Massachusetts, Amherst. He has co-authored the UNIDO report “Global Green Growth: Clean Energy Industrial Investments and Expanding Job opportunities (Volume-I)” (2015) and has co-edited the book “A Quantum Leap in the Wrong Direction?” (2019). Recently, he has been invited to join the UNESCO Inclusive Policy Lab. He is also member to significant economic bodies and associations.
