Through the Young Scholars Initiative (YSI), INET provides support to students, young professionals, or others who embrace new and critical ways of thinking about the economy. YSI fosters conversation among those who wish to engage with new economic thinking and connects young scholars to the Institute’s vast network of economists.

Erica Aloè

Erica Aloè is currently a PhD student in Socio-Economic and Statistical Studies atSapienza University of Rome. Her doctoral project focuses around the impact of economic policies on the care system and on gender equality. She graduated in Political Science from the University of Turin (Italy). After her master degree, she has worked as a trainee at the European Institute for Gender Equality in Vilnius (Lithuania), where she collaborated at the revision of the Beijing Indicators at European level. She speaks Italian, English, French, Romanian and Russian. She is currently based in Rome, Italy.
