Nicholas Daly is an international educator and researcher. As an associate of the Young Scholars Initiative, he helps YSI build its network of global scholars and leverage emerging technology to connect members. He has been involved with the Institute for New Economic Thinking since 2013, helping to found a reading group about radical uncertainty and to organize events.
Nicholas holds an Erasmus Mundus multi-country masters (Mlitt Crossways in Cultural Narratives) from the Universidad de Santiago de Compostela, the University of St Andrews, and the Universidade Nova de Lisboa, as well as a BA in cultural philosophy and media studies from Temple University, Philadelphia. He has taught and led seminars about culture and education in multiple countries. In the past he led youth through arts and environment management projects across New York City and the national parks of Montana.
Beyond his role at the Institute for New Economic Thinking, he is generally interested in how we can improve our relationship to technology, environment, and self-expression through nuanced communication across cultures, languages and disciplines.
