Call #3 - Strengthening the Co-operative Dialogue in Asia
The Cooperatives Working Group’s sessions will explore the potential, sustainability and factors for resilience that can be attained through the cooperative model. What are the factors that facilitate cooperative success? What lessons can be learned from the past to inform new innovative approaches to dealing with the economic issues of today? What are the lessons from Asia that can help strengthen the global co-operative movement?
Particularly salient topics include:
- Innovations in internal governance
- Resilience and sustainability of the cooperative model
- Issues in member commitment
- Cooperative education
- Cooperatives and changing labour relations
- Cooperatives and big data, platform cooperativism
About the cooperatives working group
The Cooperatives Working Group aims to bring together researchers interested in cooperatives from a wide range of disciplinary and regional backgrounds. We want to get scholars interested in cooperatives and economic cooperation talking to one another, sharing our research, and developing new questions and ideas to better understand economic cooperation.
