With the help of world-class speakers, young scholars form around the world will come together for an innovative and collaborative virtual conference. All curious researchers, professionals, and students interested in new economic thinking are invited.
The questions in discussion will be visualized in an interactive network graph consisting of ‘constellations’ for themes such as Globalization, Future of Money, Democracy and Governance, the Role of Economists, Sustainability, Innovation, Development, Inequalities, Societal Organization, and Economic Visions.
Each of YSI’s twenty-one working groups has a track within the plenary program and will use the questions to inspire their future projects. Together, we’ll set sail for New Economic Thinking.
Aside from the interactive ‘questions fair’, the program features 21 different tracks run by YSI’s thematic working groups on: Africa, Behavior and Society, Complexity Economics, Cooperatives, East Asia, Economic Development, Economic History, Economics of Innovation, Finance, Law, and Economics, Financial Stability, Gender and Economics, History of Economic Thought, Inequality, Keynesian Economics, Latin America, Philosophy of Economics, Political Economy of Europe, South Asia, States and Markets, Sustainability, Urban and Regional Economics. Plenary participants are invited to join a working group of their choosing.
