The workshop will be followed by the LSE Annual Inequality Conference on 14 June, which participants may register to (subject to availability).
We are glad to announce that Professor Paul Segal (King’s College London) and Dr. Alex Teytelboym (University of Oxford) will act as mentors on June 12th. In addition, Dr. Teytelboym will give a talk about Market Design and Inequality. On June 13th Professor Mike Savage will give an introductory talk about the International Inequalities Institute and how to get involved.
About the workshop
On the first day of the workshop, participants will present their work in 15 minute presentations. Participants will highlight their research question, theories, resources and findings in inequality research. We kindly ask applicants to address all these points in their abstracts. On the second day one of our members with a consultancy background will help us find creative ways to combine our joint knowledge in an interactive mind mapping session. The final version of the map will be used as a basis for the structure of the student platform.
