Dr. Pontus Rendahl is a Reader at the Faculty of Economics, University of Cambridge. He obtained his PhD from the European University Institute (EUI) in Florence, Italy, in 2007, and has since then held positions at the University of Amsterdam; the University of California at Davis; Paris School of Economics; and a research visitor at Princeton University. His primary research is within the field of macroeconomics, and has been published in journals such as the Review of Economic Studies, Economic Journal, the Journal of the European Economic Association etc.
