Fabrizio Coricelli

Involvement

Fabrizio Coricelli is professor at the Paris School of Economics and the Université Paris 1, Panthéon-Sorbonne as well as a research fellow at the Centre for Economic Policy Research (CEPR) in London. He previously spent 10 years teaching at the Central European University, where he has also directed the Ph.D. economics program. He has taught at the University of Siena and worked as director of research at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) from 2007 to 20008, economic advisor at the European Commission from 2001 to 2002, senior economist at the World Bank from 1989 to 1993, and economist at the International Monetary Fund from 1988 to 1989. His research and professional activity has concentrated on the economics of emerging markets, with special focus on transition countries. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania.
