YSI fosters conversation among those who wish to engage with new economic thinking and connects young scholars to the Institute’s vast network of economists.

Maria Cecilia del Barrio Arleo

Coordinator of YSI Finance, Law, and Economics Working Group

M. Cecilia del Barrio is an Argentine lawyer and a Ph.D. student in International Studies at the University of Trento, Italy. She holds a Master of Laws in Comparative Law, Economics, and Finance from the International University College of Turin, Italy. Her research interests include Banking Regulation, Central Banking, European Central Bank, Financial Regulation, Financial Stability, and Global Governance. She has served as legal counsel to both the Argentine Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Religion and the Ministry of Justice and Human Rights, while collaborating as an assistant professor at the Philosophy of Law Department (University of Buenos Aires, Argentina).
