Sneha Poddar is an Associate Research Fellow at Georgetown Institute of Open and Advanced Studies, an associate of the Global Soil Health Programme, and an adjunct faculty member at the Himalayan Institute of Alternatives Ladakh.
Her current research focus is on creating a Global Creative Commons network for sustainability, Smart Omni Villages, and One Earth Balance Sheet.
Professionally, she is a trained Chartered Accountant and Financial Analyst with certifications in earth economics, sustainability, financial markets, and wood science. She utilizes her professional skills to help young, creative, social, and innovative ideas realize their potential.
In 2019, she co-founded a small non-profit organization called Genie, based in Gujarat, India, which focuses on tribal education. She also initiated a project called Omniverse Life to revive and impart indigenous wisdom that can potentially lead individuals to harmony with self, society, and nature.
She has been honored with the Amul Vidyabhushan Award for outstanding academic performance and All India 10th rank by the Institute of Chartered Accountants India.
